Department of Neurosurgery was established in the year 2013 starting of outpatient services on 26th January 2013. Gradually the Department was build up and we started operative services began in December 2014. With the addition of new faculty members and procurement of latest operating equipment, all kinds of neurosurgical services are now being offered to patients from Central India. These include trauma services as well as elective brain and spine surgeries. The department also provide service to complex neurosurgical problems like skull base, neuro vascular surgery, functional neurosurgery and spinal neurosurgery. The department also runs neurosurgery training course MCH neurosurgery which is under which we get to residents per year. Our current plans are to expand the department to provide comprehensive superficiality based high end services in neurosurgery to become a center of excellence in central India.
