Dissection Hall
|
The Dissection Hall complex is located on the Ground Floor in Block F in Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel Bhawan (Medical College Building). It comprises a well-ventilated Dissection hall, Embalming room, Cold storage room, Cadaver storage tank rooms.
The Dissection hall is scheduled to undergo renovation to meet the requirements of the rising number of Undergraduates. State-of-the-art facilities like Audio-visual live image capture and projection along with a dissection
hall library shall be a part of new dissection hall complex.

Fresh Frozen cadaveric lab
|
The department has been hosting cadaveric workshops in coordination with clinical departments like Surgery, Obstetrics and Gynecology, ENT, Burns and Plastic Surgery, etc., till now.The new dissection hall complex shall also house the state-of-the-art fresh frozen Cadaveric lab with a fully equipped teaching and learning unit for the organization of a hands-on cadaveric workshops.

Histology Laboratory
|
Located in the “F” wing of the Fourth floor. Undergraduate and postgraduate laboratories with a combined capacity for 63 students to conduct histology slide practicals, also have facilities for projection and display of slides directly from microscopes. The Histology lab is adorned by a beautiful and scientifically correct Histology diagram gallery prepared by the UG students which is an important resource for learning. The department has a microscope room equipped with advanced microscopes for PG teaching and research and a Histology slide preparation room with a facility for cryosection.

Museum
|
The museum is located on the E wing of the Fourth floor in an area of 1863 sq. ft. It was inaugurated on 28th December 2022 by the Executive Director, Prof.Dr.Ajay Singh. It has 75 carefully dissected and mounted wet specimens, 124 in-house prepared Embryology models, 75 in-house prepared Artificial bones,13 original axial and appendicular bones colored in-house for attachments of muscles and ligaments, and 1 full skeleton.The museum has been planned with a futuristic outlook. With digital cataloging, and digital Repository for clinical and surgical Anatomy and procedures.

Genetic Laboratory
|
The Genetic laboratory is located in the “E” wing of the fourth floor. It became functional in 2018 with facilities for karyotyping and PCR-based tests. So far 3 post graduate students have completed their thesis work using the facilities in this laboratory. Since 2022, as a part of the Center of Excellence for Rare Diseases, cytogenetics as well as molecular genetics tests have been standardized, and very soon diagnostic tests for chromosomal anomalies and single gene disorders like SMA, DMD, Sickle cell anemia, Thalassemia etc. will be started

Anthropometry Laboratory
|
The Anthropometry laboratory was established in the “E” wing of the fourth floor, on 28th Oct 2023 under the SERB extramural project. The laboratory is well equipped with the latest instruments such as a weighing machine, skinfold thickness caliper, stadiometer, and body composition analyzer. The level 1 ISAK course in collaboration with the International Society for Advancement in Kinanthropometry was organized in Oct 2023.

Bone Bank
|
The department has a facility for bone retrieval and a cleaning unit for the procurement of bones. It has a large collection of bones of human skeleton used for teaching, learning, and research.

|
The Department is a rich collection of donated books on the field of anatomy which are of use to faculty, residents, and students for learning, teaching, and research.
