In-patient Services

Inpatient Services at AIIMS Bhopal

Patients who cannot be treated as ambulatory care in out-patient department or so called walk-in and walk-out basis, hospital based treatment after admitting the patient is done for several reasons notably for patients to be kept under direct observation for diagnosis and treatment, for complicated investigations for logistic reasons on social grounds, acute illnesses and critical care. The admission for critical care where life support systems are to be administered have yet to start. Surgical treatment will gradually pick-up as more and more back-up services get strengthened.

In-patient services have now commenced at AIIMS Bhopal since 5th September 2014

Blood Bank and Transfusion Medicine

AIIMS Bhopal has an ambitious Transfusion Medicine Programme where component preparation shall be undertaken. A large area as per regulations is coming-up for the state of the art Blood Bank and Transfusion Medicine Department in Block-17, Upper Ground Floor of the Hospital Complex
